This book has beautiful and simplistic illustrations that look to be done in Oil Pastel。 The book is about a parent’s thoughts on what their child will be like when they get older。 Will the save the day？ Be a doctor， kind， or cleaver？ The author uses simple words that rhyme。 Would be a great book for young children， maybe kindergarten or 1st grade who need to know “you can become whoever you’d like to be”。 Love the fold out page at the end。

I think this is a great book to read to elementary-aged students because it is encouraging。 I enjoy how it tells kids that they can be whatever they want to be！ This would be great to read anytime， but maybe when talking about jobs and workplaces in the classroom。 I think this would be a great story to start the day off with！
